Biography:
ChenXiangying obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering andTechnology and a Master's degree in Chemical Technology from HefeiUniversity of Technology in 1999 and 2002, respectively; Then heobtained a doctoral degree in Inorganic Chemistry from the Universityof Science and Technology of China in 2005, and joined HefeiUniversity of Technology as an associate professor in 2005. He thenconducted postdoctoral research at Sungkyunkwan University in SouthKorea from 2006 to 2007. He was appointed as a professor in 2012 andhas been serving as the directoroftheDepartmentof Chemistrysince 2014.

Thecurrent research focuseson the blending, modification, processing, and molding ofbiodegradable materials includingPBAT and PLA, alsoonthe field of industrialization.
